Hitit University Secures Over €414,000 to Strengthen Its International Activities

Hitit University has achieved a significant result in the 2026 Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps funding cycle, securing a total of €414,810 to support its international activities in higher education, youth, and volunteering.

According to the results announced by the Turkish National Agency, funding was awarded to Hitit University under four different programmes. The University received €172,950 for Erasmus+ KA131 Higher Education Student and Staff Mobility, €135,984 under Erasmus+ Youth Accreditation, €58,705 through the European Solidarity Corps, and €47,171 for Erasmus+ KA171 International Credit Mobility.

The newly awarded funds will contribute to the further development of Hitit University’s internationalisation activities across several areas. Through KA131 and KA171 mobility projects, the University aims to increase opportunities for students, academic staff, and administrative personnel to gain educational, professional, and intercultural experience in different countries.

Activities to be implemented under Erasmus+ Youth Accreditation and the European Solidarity Corps will also encourage young people to take a more active role in international projects, engage with different cultures, and participate in volunteering and youth-oriented initiatives.

The 2026 grants will not only support the more effective use of Hitit University’s existing international partnerships, but also create new opportunities for cooperation with universities and organisations across different regions of the world.

Through these new funding opportunities, Hitit University will continue to broaden its international network, increase participation in mobility and youth activities, and develop sustainable partnerships with institutions across different countries.
